Dear Editor,
Recently, I have taken to cycling to work as opposed to driving... I know it is hot now but the trick is to go early enough before the heat really kicks in. It is so much healthier, easier and cheaper than driving or taking a taxi. You not only get that much needed exercise, but have the chance to enjoy the amazing landscape in Sharm. Everyone is talking about going green well then don’t just say it, do it!
At first, I was a bit concerned about getting harassed, but it wasn’t as bad as I had expected. You can also make a game out of it by timing yourself; it makes you feel a lot better when you make the journey in 30 minutes, whereas, you used to make it in 50...
Also, they are extra hot on licenses at the moment and will stop and fine you for the smallest thing. Cycling, however, beats all that...
So, I just wanted to let all the others Sharmers know about the possibility, and if you could publish this I would be extremely grateful.

What a great idea! In fact some of us have already started cycling about the place; whether it is to the supermarket, shops or even school.
If your destination is near then you may as well cycle (as long as the sun is not too intense) taking a hat and a bottle of water with you is a good idea... Even try and get your kids interested, it is a much better way to spend their time other than playing Nintendo and play station...
There are many areas you can cycle in Sharm of which the best is probably Il Mercato and Sea Street.
Well, why not start now, get a bike and go cycling around Sharm, you may discover things you never knew existed (no matter how long you have been in Sharm)...

I don’t think it is about belief; it is more about respect and acceptance for other people’s beliefs. It is not about my opinion either as opinions become diluted with age.
The ‘Evil Eye’ is believed by many cultures to be able to cause bad luck or injury on the person to whom it is directed.
The concept and significance of it varies widely between cultures, but for me the psychodynamics are of ‘envy.’
